X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<h2>ACMA: Automation and Sustainability at Pro
 Sweets Cologne 2024</h2>\n\n<p><strong><em>In its centennial year\, ACMA\,
a Coesia Group company specialized in packaging solutions for fast-moving
consumer goods\, will participate at ProSweets 2024 (from January 28th to
  31st\, Hall 10.1 | Booth: G040 - H049)\, focusing on automation and susta
 inability\, fundamental pillars of the Group's strategy in the Food &amp\;
Beverage\, Home &amp\; Personal Care\, and Cross Industry Automation sect
ors.</em></strong></p>\n\n<p>GREENMATION is Coesia's response to the curre
nt trend driven by consumer demands for reusable and recyclable packaging\
, as manufacturers face labor shortages and production cost increases. \"I
n this complex situation\, Coesia believes that the answer to this profita
bility-threatening challenge lies in supporting a revolution in production
which is capable of combining the principles of automation and sustainabi
lity in the industries of Food &amp\; Beverage\, Pharma &amp\; Personal Ca
re\, and Cross Industry Automation\,\" says Alessandro Parimbelli\, Coesia
Chief Executive Officer.</p>\n\n<p>ACMA will showcase three technological
innovations at the fair: a <strong>robotic distribution system</strong>\,
  the <strong>CW 600 multi-style packer with the</strong> <strong>new prote
 cted double twist packaging</strong>\, and <strong>Material Gate</strong>\
, a testing unit for paper-based materials. The Cologne fair will also be
the ideal stage to introduce the new \"<strong>ACMA CARES Programme</stron
 g>\" service.</p>\n\n<h4>Robotic Distribution</h4>\n\n<p>ACMA has develope
 d three \"smart handling\" systems for Confectionery\, designed considerin
g the type of chocolate pralines to be handled\, how they need to reach th
e machine\, and the production line's speed. ProSweets will show a demo of
  a <strong>single-pick-up</strong> and <strong>multi-pick-up robotic distr
ibution system for flat-based products</strong>\, capable of orienting and
arranging chocolates in rows. The system is available in two configuratio
ns and is aimed at picking up random products\, sorting them and finally f
eeding them correctly oriented into the machine. It is a modular solution
characterized by space-saving design\, thanks to features such as the inte
gration of electrical components directly into the machine\, eliminating t
he need for additional electrical cabinets.</p>\n\n<h4>Taste and Product P
rotection</h4>\n\n<p>The CW 600 is the machine chosen by ACMA to represent
the company's Confectionery portfolio at ProSweets. It is a unit for pack
aging flat-based chocolates\, capable of working with various packaging ma
 terials\, including monomaterials such as aluminum\, PP\, PVC\, cellophane
\, and paper. The machine can handle up to eight different packaging forma
ts\, addressing market demands for product diversification and making it o
ne of the most versatile platforms in the industry. The model on display i
n Cologne will be configured to produce the new protected double twist pac
kaging\, a particular style of <strong>double twist sealed with cold weldi
ng</strong>. This design has two major advantages: firstly\, <strong>it be
 tter preserves the product's aroma</strong>\, and secondly\, <strong>it pr
otects it from external factors</strong> such as water\, heat\, humidity\,
dust\, and pests.</p>\n\n<h4>Material Gate: A Key Asset Supporting the Gr
een Revolution</h4>\n\n<p>Material Gate will also be on display – a <str
ong>testing unit born within ACMA's Sustainability Lab and dedicated to ex
perimenting with new wrapping materials with twist</strong>. Material Gate
can conduct tests with sustainable wraps\, an essential part of developin
g new packaging materials. Specifically\, it can test materials for flat o
r spherical products with double twist style\, verifying machinability and
behavior in terms of resistance to mechanical stress. Through Material Ga
te\, ACMA not only collaborates with primary packaging producers in develo
ping new sustainable materials but also precisely identifies adjustments t
o introduce on customers' machinery so they can handle the new materials w
ith the same efficiency as the previous ones\, ensuring excellent packagin
g quality.</p>\n\n<h4>ACMA\, Cares</h4>\n\n<p>ProSweets will also be an op
portunity to present ACMA CARES\, a program designed <strong>to consistent
ly support customers in improving productivity and reducing maintenance co
sts for their installed base</strong>. Leveraging extensive field experien
ce and a strong commitment from the research and development department\,
ACMA can offer various solutions to extend the lifecycle of its machines\,
innovate its models – expanding also equipment capabilities\, for examp
le\, by adding new accessories – and keep updated the electronics of mod
els that require alignment with new production needs\, a natural consequen
ce of technological evolution. Key aspect of the program is alignment with
the latest safety standards and a focus on sustainability\, promoting env
ironmentally responsible solutions. Another important focus of ACMA CARES
is to develop active synergies with customers\, forming partnerships to su
pport technological progress\, a fundamental basis for the development of
 future machines.</p>\n\n<p align=\"center\" class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"te
